4TH QUARTER COMPLETED

I had a life-changing experience during the fourth quarter of my ICT program as I dove into the worlds of network administration and web development. The main ideas and resources I discovered during this time are discussed in this essay, including local area networks (LAN), sitemaps, Microsoft FrontPage, HTML, and the various components of FrontPage.

I gained a thorough understanding of the network that links devices within a constrained space in the LAN module. I now have the knowledge and abilities necessary to configure secure and effective local area networks (LANs) after learning about routers, switches, and network protocols. I've gained insights into building dependable and strong networks thanks to topics like IP addressing, subnetting, and network security.

Sitemaps have become a crucial component of web development, and I've learned how important they are for organizing the layout of websites. I was able to boost search engine rankings and enhance user experience by making lists and hierarchical diagrams. My overall web development skills have improved as a result of my ability to create websites with logical hierarchies and clear navigation systems.

Finding out more about Microsoft FrontPage has been interesting and educational. I was able to create visually appealing web pages using its user-friendly WYSIWYG editor without having extensive coding knowledge. I learned how to format text, add multimedia components, manage files, and publish websites using FrontPage. My ability to create websites with a professional appearance has improved thanks to the tool's numerous features and options.

This quarter, a lot of attention has been paid to HTML, the building block of web development. I improved my ability to organize and present content by mastering HTML tags, elements, and attributes. I now have a strong foundation in web development thanks to abilities like making headings, paragraphs, lists, hyperlinks, images, tables, and forms. I've also been able to improve the appearance of HTML elements by understanding CSS.

Understanding FrontPage's various components, such as the workspace, toolbars, menus, and panels, has made navigating and using the program simple. Now it comes naturally to me to create and format text, add and place images, manage website files, and publish websites.

In conclusion, my fourth quarter of ICT has given me invaluable knowledge and abilities in network administration and web development. I now understand LANs, sitemaps, Microsoft FrontPage, HTML, and the various FrontPage components better. These lessons have given me the skills I need to design attractive websites, run networks efficiently, and contribute to the ever-evolving ICT industry.
